People have been coming to Marstrand for their health for a long time. In the past they didn’t just stroll about in linen garments and straw hats taking the sea air. They also came to get well and restore their spirits with cold sponge baths, mud baths and, later on, electrical therapy.

Nowadays we know better – and electrical therapy is not compulsory! All of our treatments are derived from, taken from, or found by the sea. We use seawater, seasalt and seaweed. ”Marstrand’s sea cure”, for example, allows you to bathe in our various pools and enjoy the different saunas, as well as be cleansed and oiled. Enjoy a proper scrub with seasalt, which makes an excellent exfoliator, and relax in the tranquillity of our greenhouse on the roof after a thorough cleansing with seaweed.

Whether you are an overnight guest or just visiting for the day, you can combine a session in our saltwater spa with a delicious dinner or lunch. We also offer combined conference and spa packages. Why not spice up your sales training with some invigorating birching? 

Guests over 18 years of age are welcome to use our spa, or if you are in the company of an adult, 10 years or over. To use our gym you need to be 16 years of age or over.
